Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush announced Thursday he would be making a "special announcement" in Miami, June 15.  Bush tweeted a link to his official website which allowed visitors to "RSVP" for the announcement. 

Bush's announcement is likely to be for his official entry into the crowded GOP candidate pool for 2016. The former Florida governor has remained pretty quiet on whether or not he would formally run for the GOP candidacy, but his intentions have hardly been cloaked in secrecy. 

Bush has been raising money with his Right to Rise super-PAC which has been raising hefty chunks of cash in recent months and was on track to raise a whopping $100 million for the month of May. With the mammoth fundraising numbers came harsh scrutiny, however, that Bush was skirting election fundraiser laws. 

Bush has also felt the heat in recent polls, which have shown his lead over fellow GOP presidential candidates slipping.
