Marco Rubio Weighs in on GOP's and Tea Party's Poll Numbers

Appearing on the OReilly Factor on Fox News on Tuesday night, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was asked about polls showing Americans hold the GOP and the tea party movement in low regard.

These polls fluctuate, Rubio said. They come and go. I mean, if we lived our lives based on polls, you know, we wouldnt be able to do anything else. The bottom line is that we have some very serious issues that this country is confronting ... at the basis of all of this is that the American dream as we know it, what makes our country special, its being eroded and were running out of time to do something about it. And I certainly feel like people in my party are fighting on the right side of that.
