Marco Rubio in Video Backs Paul Ryan's Budget to Save Medicare

Florida Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio released a video statement on Wednesday night where he talked about Medicare -- and why the budget proposal backed by U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., is the only way to preserve it.

My No. 1 objective is to save Medicare, said Rubio. Medicares important to me because my moms on Medicare, she depends on Medicare. But Medicare is going bankrupt, and the only plan out there right now that saves Medicare is the Ryan plan. I understand Democrats are against it. Thats fine, but whats their plan? They havent offered a plan, and they dont have a plan because theyre trying to play politics with this. Lets put politics aside and come together and save Medicare before its too late.
