Marco Rubio Says He's Ready to Run for President
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., says he's ready to be president.
When asked by Jonathan Karl on ABC's "This Week" if he thought he was ready to be president, Rubio said yes.
I do but I think thats true for multiple other people that would want to run. I mean, Ill be 43 this month, but the other thing that perhaps people dont realize, Ive served now in public office for the better part of 14 years, said Rubio. Most importantly, I think a president has to have a clear vision of where the country needs to go and clear ideas about how to get it there and I think were very blessed in our party to have a number of people that fit that criteria.
Rubio said if he decides to run for president, he'd be all in -- there would be no "exit strategy" to run for the Senate.
