Marco Rubio Releases First TV Ad in Spanish

Former House Speaker Marco Rubio, the Republican nominee in the U.S. Senate race, unveiled his first commercial in Spanish on Monday.

Not mentioning either of his major opponents -- Gov. Charlie Crist who is running without party affiliation and Democratic nominee U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek -- Rubio focuses on the story of his family in the new ad.

When translated the commercial reads as follows:

This is Marco Rubio. My parents came to this great country and worked very hard. They made many sacrifices so I could live the American dream. For that I will be eternally grateful.

Unfortunately that dream is threatened by the actions of some politicians in Washington, he adds. Im Marco Rubio and I approve this message because I will work so that our children and grandchildren have the opportunity to live out their dreams.
