Marco Rubio Begins Obamacare Tour in Jacksonville

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., will be making a stop in Jacksonville Monday to speak about defunding Obamacare before the Rotary Club of Jacksonville. His trip to Jacksonville is one of many that the Florida senator will be making to speak out on Obamacare. On Monday afternoon he'll be heading to the University of Florida to speak again about the health care law before the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce.

On Tuesday, Rubio will be speaking again in Panama City and then will stop in Pensacola Wednesday to speak with small-business owners.

Rubio and other prominent tea party senators are speaking out against Obamacare and are attempting to gather public opposition to the law, but some Republicans say that threatening to shut down the government can only hurt the GOP. But Rubio said in a recent interview on the Mark Levin Show that Republicans were not threatening to shut down the government.

We are fully prepared, despite the fact that we are not fans of short-term budgets, to support one so long as it does not fund Obamacare because it is a disaster," began Rubio.Over the last month and a half I cant tell you how many real people Ive come face to face with, including people who voted for Obama, who are just panicked by what this is going to do to them as theyre finding out about it.
