Marco Rubio Backs Leslie Dougher for RPOF Chair

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., backed Clay County GOP Chair Leslie Dougher to take over as the new chair for the Republican Party of Florida.

"Proud to support my good friend @LeslieDougher for RPOF Chair," Rubio tweeted Tuesday. "She understands what it's going to take to win in November."

A new chairperson will be selected May 31 in Tampa.
