Marco Rubio All A-Twitter

When it comes to a politician's social media status in Florida, Sen. Marco Rubio is a clear leader. During his campaign, his twitter feed had more followers than Alex Sink's, Kendrick Meek's, and Charlie Crist's (his closest competitors in the social universe) combined. He also blew away the competition in Facebook.

Now that Rubio is officially out of campaign mode, he's switching his social media accounts to reflect his newly sworn-in position of U.S. senator.

He says he wants to keep the conversation going with Floridians on important issues and allow constituents to "see their government in action through photos, videos, brief news updates and links."

• The official Twitter account can be found at Twitter.com/SenRubioPress and will provide links to videos, photos, articles and updates from the Senate floor and across Florida.

• Sen. Rubios new YouTube page, YouTube.com/SenatorMarcoRubio, will constantly update with floor speeches, committee hearing remarks and official Senate business that spans the state of Florida. Check here regularly to see everything Sen. Rubio is doing to serve Florida.

• And finally, the new official Facebook page can be found at Facebook.com/SenatorMarcoRubio. This page will serve as a one-stop shop for all photos, videos, links and Florida news.
