After losing a battle for a Florida House seat in 2012, Marco Pe resurfaced on Monday when he was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority.
Pe, the director of growth strategy for Florida Hospital, was the Republican candidate who battled Joe Saunders for a House seat representing parts of Orange County in 2012. Pe is only 33 and could bounce back politically. Besides his new post, he is active with the Puerto Rican Leadership Council, Rotaract of Metro Orlando, and UCF College of Business Alumni board. His term ends in January 2017.
