Manufacturers Honor John Mica

U.S. Rep. John Mica received the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Award for Legislative Excellence -- the seventh time the Florida Republican was so honored.

It was an honor to receive this distinction from the National Association of Manufacturers, said Mica, who chairs the powerful Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He promised the new Republican majority would continue the fight for manufacturing. The new Congress will target unnecessary federal regulations and mandates, and work to eliminate red tape to keep manufacturers from leaving our shores.
