A national poll released by Rasmussen Reports on Tuesday shows a majority of American adults -- 53 percent -- believe bullying in schools is a larger problem today that it was in the past. Only 9 percent believe it is less of a problem while 32 percent think it is about the same. When Rasmussen took a poll on the same topic three years ago, it showed that 61 percent of American adults thought it was a larger problem.
The poll of 1,000 adults was taken from Oct. 11-12 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.
