Looking at 2012, Haley Barbour Heads Back to Florida to Help Rick Scott

Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour increasingly looks like a potential candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

Barbours Haleys PAC sent out more than $440,000 to Republicans across the country for the 2010 election cycle including backing candidates and the Republican parties in all 37 states where there is a gubernatorial election.

We cant wait until 2012 to start taking our country back, said Barbour. We are fortunate to have so many qualified conservative candidates running for office to fight against the outrageous spending and dangerous deficits that the current Democratic leadership has embraced. I am happy to be a part of the change that is much needed throughout the country, and I am confident these candidates will deliver once elected.

Barbour has been active in Florida backing Republican gubernatorial hopeful Rick Scott, U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio and congressional challengers Allen West and Daniel Webster. Barbour will be back in the Sunshine State on Saturday to campaign with Scott in Riverview.
