Look What SSN's Former Legal Writer Eric Giunta Is Doing Now

Eric S. Giunta, chief legal correspondent for Sunshine State News during 2012 and 2013, is now senior law clerk for Chief Judge L. Clayton Roberts of the Florida First District Court of Appeal.

The appointment is announced in the latest edition of Florida State University's alumni magazine. 

Regular SSN readers will remember Eric Giunta for his often biting coverage of the Florida Supreme Court -- for instance, "Conflict of Interest? Unions Endorse Justices While Florida Supreme Court Decides Their Case" and "Justices Pariente, Quince Gave $30,000 to Liberal Group Opposing Conservative Colleagues". 

Before his First DCA appointment, Giunta was assistant general counsel at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in Tallahassee.
