Lenny Curry: Read, Learn About MLK

Republican Party of Florida Chairman Lenny Curry released the following statement for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"In observance of Martin Luther King Day, I encourage all Floridians to take some time to read about, learn about, and enjoy the abundant examples of Dr. King's leadership, his inspiring speeches, the wisdom of his words, and the history of his life.

"The principles championed by Dr. King are universal. While Americans may have different views on how to eliminate poverty, violence, and discrimination, and how to improve economic opportunity for all, we all can agree that these are worthy goals.

"We owe it to ourselves to take the time to appreciate this great American leader and the exemplary life he led that inspired an entire generation of Americans to make our nation even stronger."
