LeMieux Supports 'Strong E-Verify' as Senate Kicks Immigration Bill Around

After declining comment a week ago, U.S. Senate hopeful George LeMieux entered the immigration debate via Twitter on Monday morning.

"Florida needs a strong E-Verify bill. Call your local state senator and make your voice heard," LeMieux (or an aide) wrote.

Neither LeMieux nor Adam Hasner offered a comment when Sunshine State News raised the issue last week in regard to state Senate President Mike Haridopolos' handling of the immigration issue.

Hasner's camp was still mum on deadline.
