Legislators Helping Farm Share Holiday Event in Trinity

Three Republicans in the Legislature -- Sen. Mike Fasano of New Port Richey, Speaker Pro Tem John Legg of Port Richey and Rep. Richard Corcoran of Trinity -- will be hosting the annual Farm Share Holiday Giveaway on Friday, Dec. 17 from 10:00-Noon at the Generations Christian Church in Trinity.

Traditionally, the Farm Share event, helped by many Floridians and companies including Publix and AT&T, helps 500 families for the holidays.

We are once again blessed to work with farmers throughout Florida to provide food at this special time of the year, said Fasano.

We are very grateful to Schrader Elementary, Chasco Middle and Dayspring Academy for their donation and their assistance in helping the people in need this holiday season, said Legg. People in Pasco are hurting; I hope this in some small way helps provide some relief and the hope that tomorrow will be a better day.
