Lawsuit Claims Gov. Sunshine Violated Public Records Law

John Rood, a former U.S. ambassador and ex-friend of Charlie Crist, has filed a second lawsuit against his estranged pal, this time alleging the governor is violating Florida's public-records law.

When Rood received no response to his Aug. 25 requests, he filed a complaint with the Circuit Court in Leon County Thursday, seeking an expedited hearing on the matter.
