Latin Builders Association Backing Adam Putnam
Another day, another endorsement for U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, the Republican candidate to be Floridas next commissioner of agriculture and consumer services.
Just as they have for the past two days, the Putnam campaign trumpeted a new endorsement on Wednesday morning -- this time from the Latin Builders Association which has more than 750 members in the Sunshine State.
"As an association headquartered in South Florida, we recognize the economic impact Florida has as one of Americas leading agricultural states, and the importance of safeguarding consumers, said Noelia Moreno, the president of the organization. We seek to endorse a candidate who possesses the leadership qualities necessary to effectively represent our market and who is sensitive to issues affecting Floridas agricultural products and consumer services. In the election for commissioner of agriculture, we believe Adams candidacy most accurately reflects our values as an association.
I would like to thank the Latin Builders Association for their endorsement of my campaign for commissioner of agriculture, said Putnam. The construction industry has been one of the hardest hit, and I look forward to working with these individuals to ensure that Floridians emerge from these tough times stronger than when we went into them.
