In Latest TV Commercial, Jeff Greene Offers Tale of 'American Dream' Instead of Attacking Meek

Jeff Greene, in a tight battle with U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek for the Democratic nomination in the U.S. Senate race, launched a new television commercial, offering a biographical sketch. While most of the commercials from both Meek and Greene have been attack ads, this ad is more positive, portraying Greenes career as a Horatio Alger penned rags-to-riches story.

I'm a middle class kid who just happens to have lived the American dream, says Greene in the commercial. And you know what? I will be a senator who can't be bought by anyone. The only people who I'm going to be answering to are the people of Florida.

With barely two weeks to go until the primary election, its a change of pace -- and one the Greene team hopes will leave a positive impression on Democratic primary voters.
