Kottkamp Names Miami-Dade Team
Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp just named his Miami-Dade team for his attorney general bid -- and once again assembles an impressive collection of Republican leaders.
Kottkamps Miami leadership includes some big-named Republicans, including both U.S. Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart and his brother U.S. Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and Hialeah Mayor Julio Robania, four state representatives as well as a city commissioner and a county commissioner.
"Lieutenant Governor Kottkamp is the only candidate for attorney general with the right experience to lead Florida as the states chief legal officer," said Lincoln Diaz-Balart. "He especially understands the issues we face here in Miami-Dade County and has always been here to help our communities when we needed him. This leadership team will work hard to ensure Lieutenant Governor Kottkamp is elected our next Attorney General."
"Miami-Dade is a key component to achieving victory in the primary and general elections, said Kottkamp. Im convinced, with the team we have in place, we will meet that goal."
Kottkamp is engaged in a tight contest for the Republican nomination with Assistant State Attorney Pam Bondi and former Agency for Health Care Administration Secretary Holly Benson.
