Key Conservative Group Ready to Fight for Immigration Reform and 'Caylee's Law' in 2012
The Florida Womens Political Network -- which is affiliated with the National Republican Womens Network -- has a booth set up at the Republican Party of Floridas (RPOF) Presidency 5 event in Orlando. With almost 20 chapters set up across the Sunshine State, when the Florida Womens Political Network calls on Republicans in the Legislature, the elected officials listen -- and they will have a lot to say on a host of issues in 2012.
Teri Strong, the vice president of legislation for the organization, spoke to Sunshine State News at the event on Thursday morning and offered a bit of insight into what her group will be fighting for in the 2012 legislative session in Tallahassee. They will be focusing on two of the more high-profile topics that will be kicked around: immigration reform and Caylees Law.
