Is Kendrick Meek More Like Wally or the Beaver?

With Jeff Greene running TV ads, Congressman Kendrick Meek has unleashed a website and a new video blasting his opponent in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

Meek offers a pointed take on Greenes background in finance, bringing up a quote from Warren Buffett and some newspaper clippings.

And then there's the 1950s sitcom reference: Meeks team portrays Greene as Eddie Haskel-- the sneaky and manipulative kid from Leave it to Beaver who always got Wally and the Beaver in trouble. There are even clips from the show in Meeks video.

Clearly, the Meek camp is taking Greene seriously. With Meek trailing both Republican Marco Rubio and independent Gov. Charlie Crist in the polls, the last thing he wants is a fight for the primary nomination -- and thats exactly what he's facing.
