Karen Harrington Team Hits Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Israel

With U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the South Florida congresswoman who serves as the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, appearing at the South Florida Summit for Israel on Sunday night, an old foe took aim at her -- Karen Harrington, the restaurant owner who was the Republican nominee against her in 2010 and who hopes to take her on again in 2012.

"We applaud her for participating at the event, noted the Harrington team on Monday. But as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words, and Debbie Wasserman Schultzs actions are extremely deficient as they pertain to Israel. Thats because Debbie Wasserman Schultz has offered nothing but unqualified praise and support for President Barack Obama and his policies -- not one word of criticism or disagreement.

The Harrington team blasted Obama for his policies on Israel, arguing the president treats that nation as a neutral power instead of as an ally, and attacked Wasserman Schultz for backing him.
