Karen Harrington Attacks Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Earmarks

With rising national Democratic star U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz continuing to ignore her, Republican candidate Karen Harrington ripped into the incumbent for backing earmarked projects.

"We need to put an end to this debased politics-as-usual mentality in this era of unconscionable government spending and pass a permanent ban on all earmarks, said Harrington. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is afraid to stand on her own two feet and defend her record and her agenda directly to the constituents of District 20, but shes more than willing to play fast and loose with taxpayer money by appropriating taxpayer dollars for earmarks within Congressional District 20 that directly or indirectly buy her votes.
