Judge Throws Out Jihad Terror Funding Case Against One Florida Imam, Case Against Other to Proceed

The Sun Sentinel reports that Judge Robert N. Scola of theU.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida has released one of two South Florida imams who were charged with collectively sending some $50,000 to the Pakistan Taliban since 2008.

The acquitted imam, Izhar Khan, was accusedof collecting and donating a total of $1,200 for the jihadist cause. The remainder was allegedly collected and donated by his father, imam Hafiz Khan (whose case is still ongoing), and his brother, Irfan Kahn (whose case was dismissed in June).
