John Mica Announces FAA Grant for St. Augustine Airport

Florida Republican U.S. Rep. John Mica, the chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, announced last week that Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine was receiving almost $6.2 million in a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The money will be used on runways and taxiways.

Projects like this are essential to spur economic development in our local community, said Mica in a statement. Transportation improvements, like this project, will create jobs and will provide improved access to and from Northeast Florida.
