Jeff Miller, Tom Rooney Blast Dems in Congressional Shoot-Out

The Republican members of the Congressional Sportsmens Caucus, headed by Rep. Jeff Miller, R-Chumuckla, and including Rep. Tom Rooney, R-Tequesta, outdueled their Democrat counterparts Tuesday in the annual Congressional Shoot-Out.

The shoot-out is a great opportunity to highlight the issues that are important to the outdoors community, while at the same time fostering effective bipartisan collaboration on these crucial issues, said Miller according to Ammoland.com.

It is a real pleasure to work with other members of the caucus and sportsmens community to promote conservation efforts and to preserve our critical habitat.

Rooney, who spent over four years in the United States Army JAG Corps, won the Trap competition.

The event was held at the Prince Georges County Trap and Skeet Center in Glenn Dale, Md.
