Jeff Kottkamp Honors Air Force
While he has maintained a low profile since losing out to Pam Bondi for the Republican attorney general nomination, Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp was out front in honoring the Air Force in a ceremony at Cocoa Beach on Tuesday and was joined by Undersecretary of the Air Force Erin Conaton.
The United States Air Force is a tremendous contributor to our nations space program and the freedoms we enjoy every day as Americans, said Kottkamp. "I am proud our state has continued its reputation as an aviation pioneer with its strong support of the Air Force and its courageous servicemen and women.
Kottkamp noted that the state contained five Air Force bases and almost 70,000 retired Air Force veterans, and read Gov. Charlie Crists designation of Oct. 26-31 to be Air Force Week.
