Jeff Greene Takes Off the Gloves --Goes After Meek, Crist, Rubio

Jeff Greene, the billionaire running in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate nomination, went on the attack this weekend, reminding Floridians about his opponents connections to controversial figures -- linking Marco Rubio and Charlie Crist to disgraced former RPOF chairman Jim Greer and linking Kendrick Meek, through his mother Carrie, to controversial developer Dennis Stackhouse.

The people of Florida should be outraged that Rep. Kendrick Meek and Governor Charlie Crist were both aware of corrupt actions by people close to them, but instead of stating the truth about what they knew, they continued to change their stories constantly in a cover-up attempt, said Greene.

According to recent media reports, both men knew more about the shady business deals than originally claimed, said Greene. Kendrick Meek and Charlie Crist have violated the trust of the people of Florida with their lies and cover-up and both need to come clean immediately because the people of Florida deserve the truth from their elected officials.

Im running for U.S. Senate because I want to clean up the corrupt political system and restore the peoples trust in our government -- a view that Kendrick Meek, Charlie Crist and Marco Rubio clearly do not share, concluded Greene.
