Jeff Atwater Announces his CFO Campaign has $2.1 Million in the Bank

Senate President Jeff Atwater, R-North Palm Beach, announced Thursday morning that he has more than $2.1 million in the bank for his CFO campaign. Atwater is the Republican candidate for CFO, having chased away all potential challengers.

Atwaters team announced that he had pulled in more than $245,000 in cash contributions during the second quarter of 2010 -- adding to an already impressive war chest.

"I am honored to receive this tremendous outpouring of support," said Atwater. "Every single day, I meet Floridians who are ready to join us as we work for fiscal discipline in government and to foster the entrepreneurial spirit that will grow our economy and create jobs."
