Nate Cohn over at the New York Times makes the case that former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., has one major factor helping his chances to become the Republican presidential nominee: the collapse of Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J.
Cohn argues that moderate and liberal Republicans play a major role in primaries, even in large states like California and New York which will back Democrats in the general elections. One of the states Cohn notes where moderate and liberal Republicans play a major role might be small but it casts a large shadow in presidential primaries: New Hampshire. Cohn contrasts Bushs chances with conservative primary voters divided between several GOP contenders.
