Jeb Bush Backs Rubio

With Gov. Charlie Crist bailing out of the Republican party to continue his campaign for the U.S. Senate as an independent, it comes as no surprise that former Gov. Jeb Bush has endorsed Marco Rubios bid for the Senate. Bush and Rubio are close allies going back to their time in Tallahassee together.

This White House and this Congress are taking our nation in the wrong direction, said Bush. "I hope all Floridians will ask themselves whether they want their next senator to be a rubber stamp for the Obama agenda, or to stand up to it and offer a clear conservative alternative. I am proud to endorse Marco Rubio for Senate and pledge to do everything I can to make sure he is elected this November.
