An unlikely duo will be pairing up for comedian Stephen Colbert's first taping as he hosts the Late Show in September. On the roster of guests for Colbert's first show? Former Florida Gov. and Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush.

In an email sent to supporters, Bush tried to make a quick deal with potential donors: chip in $3 or more to Bush's campaign, and be entered to win an all-expense paid trip to watch the very first taping of the Late Show -- as a VIP -- live.

"Running for President can be a taxing and grueling job, but it also presents you with some truly once in a lifetime opportunities," read the email. "Attending the Late Show and an all expenses paid trip to New York are incredible as is, but to get a VIP ticket to the very first taping of the Late Show with a new host, that’s something you’ll still be talking about 20 years from now."
