Jacksonville Jaguars Least Popular Team in the NFL
Harris released a poll this week and the results are disheartening, as my beloved Jacksonville Jaguars are the least popular team in the National Football League (NFL). Again.
For the fourth survey in a row, the Jaguars are at the bottom of the poll of the most popular NFL teams. The Dallas Cowboys once again earn their nickname of Americas Team as they top the poll for the sixth time in a row. The Sunshine State can take some solace since the Miami Dolphins are the 10th most popular team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the 26th most popular team, beating out the Jaguars and five other teams.
More than a quarter of those surveyed -- 28 percent -- think the Denver Broncos will win the Super Bowl. The only other team to break double digits was the Seattle Seahawks at 14 percent. Florida teams got little love with 1 percent thinking the Dolphins will win the Super Bowl, less than 0.5 percent thinking the Bucs will be crowned and not a single one of the 2,577 adults surveyed believing the Jags will win the Super Bowl. Of course, after Jags have floundered to a 0-6 start, I cant say Im surprised. Of course, I'm one of those Jags fans who celebrated on Sunday since we lost to Denver by only 16 points.
