IRS Investigation Backed by Majority of Voters in New Poll

A poll released by Rasmussen Reports on Monday finds a solid majority -- 57 percent -- of likely voters believe the Obama administrations handling of the IRS, including targeting tea party and conservative groups, needs more investigation. Only 28 percent say the matter should be wrapped up, while 15 percent are not sure.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters was taken from May 9-10 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.
