ICUF Joins Coalition for College Cost Savings
On Thursday, the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) announced it was joining the national Coalition for College Cost Savings (CCCS) as it looks to reduce costs for its members. CCCS, which represents almost 800 private colleges across the nation with almost 2 million students, is active in 29 states.
Membership in the Coalition for College Cost Savings brings the buying power of more than 700 schools to ICUFs member institutions, said Dr. Ed Moore, the president of ICUF. By working with the Coalition for College Cost Savings, we will get the highest value of goods and services at the lowest price, which will benefit all of our students and faculty.
We are pleased to welcome the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida to the CCCS family, said Harry Goldberg, the president of CCCS. Each new member brings additional volume potential against Coalition contracts. This will help each of our member organizations and their member schools receive the best value and enrich the higher education community as a whole.
