Florida Gov. Rick Scott may not be the only Republican governor that has to give up stage time at the national convention due to Tropical Storm Isaac.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has declared a state of emergency for his state as the threat looms from the storm that is expected to grow into a hurricane.
Jindal is currently scheduled to speak Wednesday night, with the storm expected to reach land at the northern end of the Gulf of Mexico late Tuesday to early Wednesday.
Republican Party of Florida Chairman Lenny Curry noted Sunday that Jindal may also not be able to appear for the daily "Fresh From Florida" breakfast series at the Innisbrook Resort and Spa in Palm Harbor where the Florida delegation is staying.
