House Wants Congress to Balance Budget, Repeal Obamacare

The House approved a number of memorial bills late Wednesday directed to make federal officials know the majority opinions of Floridas lawmakers.

Among the bills backed in the Republican-dominated House were:

• Calling for a balance budget amendment, HM 499.
• Imposing term limits on Congress, HM 83.
• Capping federal spending, HM 1249.
• Repealing the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform & Consumer Protection Act of 2010, HM 1321.
• Repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, HM 1281.
