Hillary Clinton Tries Out Comedy on Broad City

Hillary Clinton is giving her comedy routine a try Wednesday. The Democratic presidential hopeful will be heading to TV Wednesday evening not to do a typical celebratory round of news conferences, but to appear on the hit Comedy Central series, Broad City.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the idea behind Clinton's cameo appearance developed around a year ago. Clinton's bit was shot sometime in December of last year and is a clear attempt to appeal to younger, more progressive voters, who have mostly refused to hop onboard her campaign bandwagon.

Broad City airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
