Hillary Clinton to Launch 'Women for Hillary' to Support Presidential Campaign
Wednesday marked the 95th anniversary of women winning the right to vote in the U.S., and Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton figured the day was more than appropriate to announce a new sector of her presidential campaign focused solely on women.
Clinton wrote in an email to supporters she would be launching the "Women for Hillary" group to gather women from all corners to put their support behind her campaign.
"Women for Hillary will be a powerful force in this campaign: Americans of all ages and backgrounds coming together to say that we believe everyone deserves to be treated fairly, and we're going to work together to make that happen," the email read. "We're going to fight for equal pay, access to affordable health care and child care, and so much more -- because we know that when women get ahead, families get ahead."
