Harry Potter to Fly to Visit Florida Welcome Centers

You might want to bring your magical broomstick on a future visit to one of Visit Florida's four Welcome Centers in North Florida.

Visit Florida, the state's official tourism marketing agency, is planning on bringing the Harry Potter franchise to the centers to promote the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios Orlando's Islands of Adventure theme park.

Even the oracular Professor Trelawney couldn't predict what the newly enchanted Visitor Centers will look like. Visit Florida still needs to discuss plans with Universal and get them approved by J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, but it's hoping to have an announcement by June 18, when the new park is scheduled to open.
