Gus Bilirakis Gets an 'A' in English

Republican U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis was honored late last week by U.S. English, a group looking to make English the official language of the nation, for his efforts on their issues. The group gave Bilirakis an An in English for supporting them on the national language issue.

Rep. Bilirakis has been a strong supporter for official English policies during his time in Congress, said Mauro E. Mujica of U.S. English. At a time when there is renewed interest toward preserving what unites us as a nation, we are grateful to Rep. Bilirakis for his dedicated and enthusiastic support of this issue.
