Greene Calls for a Series of Debates With Meek

Despite his lack of political experience, billionaire Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Greene feels confident enough in his abilities to challenge his chief rival, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, to a series of debates to be held every two weeks from here until the primary election on Aug. 24.

Greene took off the gloves in issuing the challenge.

Since career politician Kendrick Meek cant defend his record of failure, he has resorted to misleading desperate personal attacks, said Greene. "Meeks attacks make it clear he still has no idea what even caused the economic crisis, has zero understanding of how to fix it and is still playing politics by misleading voters.

Heres a snapshot of Meeks record of failure, continued Greene. Meek failed to see the housing crisis coming, failed to prevent it, and actually helped cause the crisis by peddling loans to people who couldnt afford them in cahoots with the lenders who were funding his campaign.

Greene presented himself as an outsider and said his record stood in sharp contrast to Meeks.

Unlike Meek, I actually saw the housing crisis coming and took bold steps to protect my business and the jobs I created, said Greene.
