Grayson in Denial: Can't Believe He's Lost 20 Points in CD 8
Pooh-poohing a Sunshine State News Poll that shows him trailing Republican Daniel Webster by 7 points, Rep. Alan Grayson declared today, "I'm winning."
In an interview with TalkingPointsMemo.com, the first-term congressman sounded incredulous that he could be losing after his earlier internal campaign poll showed him ahead of Webster 13 points.
"I don't know how anybody could possibly believe we've dropped 20 points," the Orlando Democrat mused.
Grayson called Voter Survey Service, which conducted the poll a "consistently biased pollster that comes up with polling that is not believable."
Tell that to Bill McCollum, who lost to Rick Scott by the margin predicted by VSS, while other polls were wildly inaccurate.
The Pennsylvania-based pollster also was the first to report that Marco Rubio has a double-digit lead in the U.S. Senate race. Every other poll has since confirmed that margin.
