
Gov. Scott Working at Captain Anderson’s in Panama City
Gov. Rick Scott is at Captain Andersons Restaurant & Waterfront Market in Panama City today for his fourth Lets Get to Work day.
Scott is working at the landmark waterfront restaurant from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., CDT.
The governor well knows the restaurant.
During his 2010 campaign, Scott had a fundraiser with approximately 150 at the restaurant that has been named Best Seafood Restaurant by Southern Living.
Nicholas Nick Patronis, a co-owner of the family-owned restaurant, was appointed by Scott to the governing board of the Northwest Florida Water Management District in July.
Scotts prior workdays:
Sept. 8: Worked the gate, Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
Aug. 26: Washed dishes, served meals, Audubon Elementary, Orlando.
Aug. 3: Worked the counter, Nicola's Donuts and Bakery, Tampa.
