Gov. Scott Tweets his Mom's Doughnut Shop Workday

Gov. Rick Scott has posted a photo of his mother, Esther Scott, while she undertook her own workday last week at a Tampa doughnut shop.

"Esther, Gov Scott's mother & former doughnut shop owner, @ Nicholas Donuts in Tampa showing how to make Apple Fritters," Scott tweeted on Monday.

In August, the governor spent a couple of hours baking and working the counter at Nicola's Donuts and Bakery in North Tampa.

The governor is calling his workdays, a concept started by former governor Bob Graham in the 1970s, "Let's Get to Work Days."
