Gov. Scott Touts Another Corporate Relocation

Chromalloy, an aviation maintenance and manufacturing company, will be moving its corporate headquarters to Palm Beach Gardens, where it will expand in a new Technology Center of Excellence, which has already begun construction.

Gov. Rick Scott was quick to claim the scalp, and said he is working on bringing more companies down to the Sunshine State.

"Today, I am happy to announce that another company is recognizing Florida is on track to be the best state in the nation to do business. I am pleased that Chromalloy will expand the companys Florida presence with the new Palm Beach Gardens Technology Center of Excellence and by moving its headquarters there. I am committed to helping other companies follow Chromalloys example and bring more jobs to Florida, Scott said.

Statistics on how many jobs would be created by the move were not readily available.
