Gov. Scott Announces 2013-14 Gubernatorial Fellows Program

College and university student have until March 8 to apply for the 2013-2014 Gubernatorial Fellows Program.

The program gives students a chance to spend two semesters working with key staff in the governors office and other agencies, depending upon their major.

I invite all those who want to help grow jobs for Floridas families to apply, Gov. Scott stated in a release announcing the registration for the annual program. This program provides an invaluable opportunity for Floridas college and university students to receive advanced, on-the-job training.

Fellows also participate in policy study trips throughout Florida and in Washington, D.C.

To be eligible, a student must be a junior, senior or graduate student at a Florida college or university. About 12 students will be selected.
