GOP Senate Hopeful Adam Hasner Attacks Obama Job Plan

Former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner, now in a crowded Republican primary to see who will challenge Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in 2012, on Tuesday attacked the jobs plan backed by the Obama administration. The plan is expected to be voted on in the Senate.

"President Obama has spent the last month campaigning around the country demanding that Congress pass his jobs bill 'now.' This week he is finally realizing that very few people believe that another multibillion-dollar stimulus will work any better than the first, including many Senate Democrats," said Hasner in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon. True tax reform, eliminating job-killing regulatory burdens, expanding domestic energy production, and repealing Obamacare are the proven conservative ideas that will put people back to work. The only remaining question is whether or not Senator Nelson will jeopardize his 98 percent record of support for Obama-administration policies by doing what is right and voting against this bill. I join the majority of Floridians in urging him to reject President Obama's latest phony jobs bill."
