George W. Bush: A Painter?

Former president George W. Bush has a passion for painting, and he's got a new art exhibit to prove it.

In a special segment on the Today Show, Bush unveiled a series of paintings he's completed over the years, some of family pets, and others of world leaders like former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The paintings will be part of an exhibit called "The Art of Leadership: A President's Personal Diplomacy" at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

In the interview with his daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, the former president says: "I paint a lot because, as you know, I'm a driven person."

"I was little reluctant to put them out [publicly], because I'm not a great artist," said Bush. "I don't want people to think I'm a great artist. On the other hand, I did want to refresh the Bush Center. I want people to come and visit us. We view ourselves as a place where people can learn."
